My laptop won't connect to any wireless network.

I have tried various methods but keep ending up with no results for wireless connections. This post is coming off of another computer so I can't recite too many results.

When you click on the network icon in the notification area, are you able to see the connection you want to connect to?

Check lshw -C network to verify the interface has a driver and alias (wlan0?).
