View Full Version : Ubuntu Main Site Graphic Missing?

Just wondering if anyone else has problems with the Main Website graphic showing up. I am using IE6, and it says that an error has occurred on the page and it does not show the normal large graphic. I am going to http://www.ubuntu.com

Same here.

Will look at the code and see if I can find the mistake, though I'm a very inexperienced HTML developer.

Edit:
Actually, it is appearing here but far too low.

Could "<h2 id="head-3baadd3f6cf4468e604a717d19bca973c7e37ce4">" possibly be a problem?

Well why are you using IE get a real browser. I didn't know anyone even used IE anymore.

Thank you for your suggestion but, beside that fact that I don't use IE, I sincerely hope the webmaster of ubuntu.com disagrees with you.

It's still not fixed though.

Apparently, your living in a 2,000 meter-deep cage with no communication to the outside world. Everyone has the right to use whatever they want, so respect that at least do so on our forums. That's not a suggestion.

Unfortunately I'm not able to reproduce this on my own Windows box (win XP with IE6).

sfeek, could you tell me if this happens on every page or just the front page? What width is your browser window? Could you send a screenshot to henrik AT ubuntu.com? Also, does the same thing happen on http://www.theopencd.org/ and http://www.canonical.com/ ?

I already sent an email to the webmaster a few days ago BTW.
Didn't get a response.

Henrik, sent you the attached screenshots (XP SP2 + IE6) over email.
As you can see, it's not just the frontpage, most other pages have the same problem (but not all).

http://www.theopencd.org/ and http://www.canonical.com/ seem to be working fine except http://www.theopencd.org/programs.
