UBUNTU has many different ways to download there os. so does every linux i've tryed.

also the ubuntu ce update for ubuntu always stuffs up for me so its no good either.

Is there anybody able to help to download and host the iso image?
If you do, let me know the link and I will update the download instruction.

Considering the tone of the original "request" and that maintaining a mirror will certainly require some effort and may well result in some significant costs....

Cheers

You can download UCE from distro watch directly. Also DK im not sure how much help i can be as i have never setup a mirror and know little to nothing about hosting a iso but i do have a server that i can split up into many vps and i can dedicate one to UCE for hosting. Again dont know how valuable i can be but my services are offered.

Here are a couple direct download options. I cannot guarantee the speeds on these but you are welcome to download freely from the server below. The 32 bit version is up and I will get the others up here soon.

http://holycms.com/ce/

Direct link for 9.10 i386 (http://holycms.com/ce/i386/ubuntu-9.10-christian_edition_v6.0-i386.iso).

Trojan Horse detected on UCE or utorrent?
Please make sure you download utorrent from official website.
Please also inform us which file is infected by trojan horse.

+1: We don't need malware sullying the reputation of any of the Ubuntu family of distros

Again i stress to please only download uce from either DistroWatch (http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=ubuntuce) or the official UCE (http://ubuntuce.com/) site via torrent or direct download.

again i would also like to point out that there should be a link to the official distro watch site.

I was using utorrent,as far as the file infected I'm not sure I only got up 12% down load (after 28hrs)when it was detected, and just deleted all the files and utorrent.

There was only two files:

1. NFO (very2 small one, I think it is impossible to be infected.)
2. ISO file (very big one, it could not be read only after completion, so, before complete I think it is also impossible to be detected as virus).

Of course, unbeknownst to the maintainers of UbuntuCE, I have taken the liberty to place it(UCE) upon a very big torrent site: |)em0n0id.com :

http://www.d e m o n o i (http://www.********.com/files/details/2114180/5153074/)d.com/files/details/2114180/5153074/ (http://www.********.com/files/details/2114180/5153074/)

Haters be hating on it, but you know what? People are downloading it. God is good, they can knock Him and this OS all they want to, I am going to keep posting the torrents there and hosting the current ones. :D

Looks like your link has been censored. AFAIK this is done when either a cuss word is used or there's a web site that the staff have considered problematical at some time.

edit: I see your post has been edited...... hope it doesn't cause a problem :D

copy, past, remove the spaces, BAM! good to go. Trouble or no trouble, it is not going to stop me from putting the torrents on there and seeding them from that site :D
