Sound effects in Firefox: how do I stop them

Hi,

Since I upgraded to Koala, I've had sound effects in Firefox, and I can't figure out how to remove them. In particular, whenever a warning popup window, I hear that same sound as when the gdm window appears after a boot.

It's highly annoying. How do I remove that?

I'm using KDE, but as far as I remember go to "System >> Preferences >> Sound" and disable system sounds.
