First off ubuntu is ten times better than Fedora since I first started with fedora linux about two years ago. It messed up my sounds card in the laptop I was using. then i bought a new laptop about a year ago (Acer:Extensa model) and stuck to windows for about 8 months then i switched over to ubuntu 8.04 LTS. After i realised that I had down loaded it a while back and never got around to using it to that point.
It was an easy install and on top of that it did not mess up any of my hardware. I instantly fell in love with it. It is like a techno-utopia so to speak. Ubuntu to me is way easier to use than windows. The only real gripe i have is that it wont reagister my printer all the way but im sure i can find the right tutorial some where around here. My minor gripe is that i cant change my log-in screen. but thats a minor cosmetic and it matters very little in the long run.
Over all I give it a 20/10 yes thats right. Ubuntu is most likely one of the best things that has happened to me. To top it all off its free excpet for the internet connection and the CD/DVD to put it on.
Thanks for all the support and fun I personaly look forward to more in the future.
