Pressing "C" on boot won't let me boot LiveCD

I burned the Hoary LiveCD with cdrecord, like this:

sudo cdrecord dev=IODVDServices hoary-live-powerpc.iso


This seemed to work fine, but I can't get the CD to boot, even though I keep pressing "c" on bootup like I'm supposed to. What am I missing here?

I figured out the problem. I had to hold down the "C" key to get the CD to boot.
