In Ubuntu 9.04, when the screen was manually locked, the monitor shut itself off within a minute or two. It 9.10, it does not. The screen stays on with a blank screen until the designated "turn off screen" time is met.
Does anyone know how to get this feature back? I can't find any options in gconf or power management/screensaver.
