Hey there. I am currently unable to update, install or uninstall anything because adobe flashplugin failed to install properly

I am getting the following message after trying to run update manager, and perform a partial upgrade:

"Package in inconsistent state

The package 'adobe-flashplugin' is in an inconsistent state and needs to be reinstalled, but no archive can be found for it. Please reinstall the package manually or remove it from the system."

I am also unable to use the package manager for the same reason
