I am signed up to receive ubuntu emails from the ubuntu-announce listserv, and here is today's message:
Today's Topics:
1. LOTTO.: CONTACT SMITH FIRM!!! (inffooffice@virgilio.it)
The email that follows tells me I won a million dollars.
Is this spam from ubuntu?? Is someone spoofing ubuntu emails?? What is up??

I realized pretty much instantly it was fake, but I am more concerned with hedonistic spammers besmirching Ubuntu's good name!
Also, I am a tad concerned that maybe their list-serv servers were compromised… especially since that damn email made it through my spam filtering…
I dunno... you tell me.
