add software to the ubuntu live cd?

Hi, I am not sure whether this is the correct place to ask this question, but does anyone know how can I add my own software to the ubuntu live cd? I would like to use ubuntu live cd to demo my program.

That will be great if anyone can post some url for any related docs.

The Dapper Drake live CD does have persistence feathure, I believe these links could help you:
