Hello,
I just installed the Ubuntu 9.10 and during the boot I've got a black screen.
I manually inserted into grub i915.modeset=0 and seems working.
BUT !
1- I don't know how to avoid to insert the string manually at every reboot...there is no ...grub\menu.lst in the 9.10 version.How and where can I modify the grub?
2-A process called UDEVD puts the processor at 99% and I cannot kill it with killall udevd.
Can you please help and advice?
