I have installed Ubuntu 9.10. I have an issue with the built in camera. It is not found. WHen I start any of the soft phone or Skype applications they say no camera was detected.

How do I find, set-up and operate the camera. The Laptop is a Sony Vaio with built in camera.

Tried these and still I can not get the camera to work... I have to be honest, some of the instructions made no sense to me. Guess I am not that technical. They also seem mostly to refer to USB devices, mine is built-in.

The apps say "No Device Found"

Any other advise. http://ubuntuforums.org/images/icons/icon8.gif
