Hey I got this cool Dream Theater concert DVD the other day, and one of the bonus features is a track with multiangle support - ie, you can choose what camera to watch. I'm a drummer, so I want to stay on Mike Portnoy the whole time :P

Anyway, VLC plays the DVD fine but I can't seem to find multiangle support anywhere - I read on the net after a google search that it doesn't support it.

Any idea how I can view the other angles on Ubuntu? Another player or something? Plugin for VLC? Or am I just going to have to wait till I get home and use my DVD player?

I would think mplayer could, either from the start or using the keyboard while playing ( maybe A on keyboard ..?

or
mplayer dvd://X -dvdangle X

where red = movie title number and blue = angle number

Awesome, that worked once I got Mplayer working. It's shift+A, but your command line method works best.
