Hi,
I have a keyboard shortcut to open gedit mapped to ctrl alt g.
When I open gedit, it always opens a new file with the title %U, (which is the command in the shortcut).
I want to stop this from happening, and I also want it to open with the bookmarks showing in the left pane, and not filesystem which it does at the moment.

Is this possible please.

Cheers
Andy

Strip the command down to just "gedit". If you close the program down with "file>quit" with the bookmarks in view, it will reopen the same.
