Actually, Ubuntu's logo itself is a fairly common design. You can only go so far with basic tribal and/or celtic-based designs.

I'm pretty certain I wouldn't hire anybody to work on my website if they could even sort out the horrible jaggies in their logo.

I actually think it's a rather nice looking site.

Nice logo, too.

Beats the hell out of a lot you see on the internet anyway.

To be honest, as long as it isn't a clear and obvious direct copy, I'm fine with people using similar logos. I mean, we don't want Canonical to become the next Apple, do we?


FYI, for those of you who haven't tuned into the news in a while, Apple is suing Woolworth's over how their image looks supposedly like the Apple logo.
