I have been doing some reading on this topic for a while... I have a jailbroken IPhone with the 2.1 firmware. more and more apps have stopped working because I need to upgrade to 3.0. I no longer have access to a Windows machine, but I am running XP in virtualbox.
My question is; how many of you have actually upgraded the firmware successfully? How many of bricked your phones? What difficulties will I run into with virtualbox during the upgrading/jailbreaking process?
