Urgently need help, bricked laptop

my battery went dead and wont wake from hibernation. Batery charges stilL acer 5315

Plug the laptop in, press the power button to turn the computer on, wait for the "please wait" message, press and hold the power button until the computer shuts down, press the power button to start up again and unbuntu should load normally.

Thanks 4 replying, i cant do that as the laptop is bricked no activity(hardisk,screen,fan,power light) all dead, im just guna use it for parts if i cant get it working aint to botherd now anyway

Pretty sure your hardware has failed. Sorry, but it looks like you're down a laptop.

On the bright side, you now have a large and fancy paperweight!
