Hello all: I've had Ubuntu since Feb. First 8.10 then uploaded to 9.04. I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer and all these codes, etc are blowing my mind---I'm a 56 yr old grandmother (I know, that is no excuse) but I really need a lot of hand holding--I purchased a LG ENV Touch mobile and installed a 4bg micro sd card to save my pictures to. How do I get these pictures downloaded to my computer??? The card comes with an adapter that will fit in a slot on my HP Media M7600 tower, however, when I try this-it is not recognized. I've also been told that the cord that I use to charge my phone with is not a legitimate USB cord, so I guess if I tried that, it would not work either. I did search the forums 1st for this model of mobile ph, but with no results. Please help.
When I do lspci these are the results:

On your touch goto Setting&Tools->Tools->USB Mass Storage. After clicking it a window should pop up with all of the folders on the card in your phone. Place the pics that you want in to the 'my_pix' folder and there you go. Now I don't know what pic formats that the phone will display.
