Ubuntu server with xfce and vnc-server without GPU

I've been trying to get vnc-server to work with my headless server without graphics card but I can't get it to work ..

IS IT EVEN POSSIBLE ??

without gpu isnt necessarily the issue. these onboard gpu are pretty powerful these days. You can try it out. If it doesnt work. There's always ssh. typical bottleneck for vnc is network usually.

my board(A8N-SLI Deluxe) has no gpu..
I thought about taking gpu out 'cause it'd make it more quiet.
My gpu(asus x800xl) is pretty noisy at this point
