Hi,

I would really like to give Nethack a go. I have previously tried to install them from various distros, often Debian versions, but am confused by the options. I read about Falcon's Eye, see GTK packages, and am not sure what to run.

Can anybody suggest the best packages to install to play a good graphical version of Nethack?

Help appreciated.

Chris.

Slash 'em. There is slashem-gtk and slashem-sdl. I think the sdl one would be the best, but I could be wrong. Crossfire is a cool game that is sort of nethack+gauntlet that can be up to 200 players. You can run your own server, etc. Good stuff. In fact I think I may just play a bit now :D

Cheers, big fella.

Will have a look at these options. Are they all in the uni/multiverse repositories? I'm not near my Ubuntu box, to check.

Thanks,

Chris.

Wow, looks cool. Can I edit my /etc/apt/sources.list so it's available?

Cheers,

Chris.
