Sure.

Visualboyadvance. apt-get it

http://vba.ngemu.com/

Best way to get games is to surf the torrents (www.isohunt.com is good place to start)

I think the best torrent program is

bittornado. apt-get it as well

It works with firefox seemlessly (I'm getting a new linux iso right now with bittornado).

If you are going to use bittorrent, go for the Azureus client. Only issue is you have to install java. I think it works better than Bittorrento.

Sounds like you don't have universe enabled. Plenty of guides available on how to enable it. Generally you just have to uncomment a line or two in sources.list. Afterwards, apt-get update, then win. :)

My only quarrel with vba is there isn't really any good frontends for it (there's gnomeboy advance, but I don't believe it works correctly with hoary).

Since this is entitled "Emulators and Games?" I assume that it is ok for me to ask about a PSX emulator for Ubuntu. I can't have a TV in my dorm room and thus can not play my psx games here, I was hoping that somebody could point me towards a good psx emulator for ubuntu.

I only know of ePSXe (http://www.epsxe.com/)

Doesn't seem like it's actively developed.

I think VisualBoy Advance is only available via apt-get under hoary.

I just asked about a backport to warty in the backports section, so hopefully there'll be one soon.
