Mounting a partition under VMWare

I am running Ubuntu under VMWare. I need to access some files stored in other partitions. How to mount those partitions? Or is there anyother way to share the files?

SAMBA is the best way to access files from a VM. All of these questions are already answered in the Virtualization forum.
