A push in the right direction...please!

OK, I've always been very interested in sotware develpment, and OS develepment, but I've never had the resorces, or training to do so....at 16 years of age....I still have the opertuinty to do so...

I think what I really need is some basic know-how...I need some tutorials, software,ect....I'm basicly going to start from scratch....

I would suggest reading through the sticky thread "How did you learn to program (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=8682)"

There are some good tutorials and info hiding in there.
