I run Windows XP using VirtualBox 3.0.12 and I am able to watch .avi file fine using Gom Player. You might give Gom Player or VLC a try. Also, how much video memory have you allocated for use by VirtualBox? If you can afford it, see if setting aside the maximum 128 MB for video memory helps.

I am using window media player classic on my guest OS window xp .It's fine on a standard size resolution but once I maximize it , the whole video full of blur visible square.

When I maximize video to full screen (I have a 24" flat panel running 1920 x 1200) on VLC, the picture does get a little pixelated. I assume it is so because I am running the video on an emulated video card with 128 MB of video ram. Can't expect too much. But it is still very watchable.

I am just using 17 inch LCD , resolution 1024x768.At first I was thinking about video card ram and I increase it to 128 MB still it's the same.
Just a normal avi file and short clip 2 min but still can't display well.

So have you tried another media player like Gom Player or VLC? Do you get the same result?

Still the same , hope someone can clarify my problem.Would it be my poor cpu processor or virtualbox doesn't support full screen video ?
Thank you :)
