LiveCD with Xgl?

Will it be possible to bundle Xgl into a LiveCD? I've been trying to run Xgl with a Live CD of Ubuntu (Dapper Flight CD 4) but I always get stuck at trying to restart Gnome with Xgl.

Eventually someone will make an XGL live CD I think.....

But since its not part of the main in Ubuntu I don't see it getting bundled as part of the package anytime in the future.

Another question, can I run Xgl with the default Mesa Drivers? When I try fglrxinfo, it shows only that I'm running Mesa drivers. :(

No, you need 3d acceleration to run Xgl.
