I have 9.10 installed on amd64 machine. I can create and run KVM vms with using the 8.04 amd64 iso but have a problem with the 9.10 amd64 iso. When creating the 9.10 vm, I have the install startup screen up and can use the up/down arrows to move to "Install Ubuntu". But when I hit enter nothing happens and can't use the up/down arrow anymore. The Virtual Machine Manager shows that the vm is running. The exact install procedure works fine with 8.04. Any ideas would be appreciated.

how are you making these vm's? sounds like it would be easier to use ubuntu-vm builder .
