Can't maximize to full screen

Hi. I was fiddling with Compiz settings, and now I can't maximize windows to full screen. If I click on the maximize button in top right corner of a window, it takes it up to about 4/5 of the screen. If I click it again, the window shrinks to about 1/4 of the screen. I tried disabling, and then re-enabling cube, cube rotate, windows maximize etc, but hasn't helped and I can't figure out where I stuffed things up.

Fixed it. Turns out desktop dimensions had changed under CCSM, general options, display settings, outputs.
