I was looking through the splash screens on gnome-look.org and came across this: http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Usplash+Theme+-+Fingerprint?content=50468
It got me thinking about animated boot up screens. That screen would look a lot cooler if it was animated. The DNA strands rotating, the little pointer thing that's pointing at the pinky finger moving between fingers, the text scrolling and displaying new (fake, unreadable) info, etc. Does gnome have the ability to show animated boot up screens? It could be an animation/movie to make it simplest.
If there are animated boot up screens out there, where can I find them? I've done some googling and looking through various websites but haven't found anything.
