What other forums do you all use? I know I have cheated and snuck in plenty of non-ubuntu related problems here in the help sections and have always gotten a positive response, but I try not to do it unless I have to.

When you all have random problems like with hardware, Windows, or just anything else, what are some of your other go-to forums?

The only other forum I use on a regular basis is crackberry (if you have a blackberry I highly recommend them). Other than that, I have like 30 other forum accounts floating around the internet that have max like 10 posts on them haha!

I browse the Arch forums occasionally and I'm on reddit a lot, if you consider it a forum.

This without a doubt in my mind is a very sociable forum with a lot of interesting comments and new information popping up all the time ..... it gets me to try new things out too ....

There are a few other linux forums that I use LinuxQuestionsOrg .... Andlinux .... and the Elive Forum .... possibly others too that I have posted to if there was something relative at the time .......... as in the previous writers answer ...

I possibly only posted 3 or 4 times on the others though ......

But here I find it is the best, because there are so many good responsive people here ...... with the quick response times and the very good answers to problems ...... its easily the best place to come to ......

I would think that this should always be the first place to visit .... ( for me at least ) ..... and then to go find other forums - if the questions specified relate to, or are better answered on them ......... but I am sure people here would point to the correct place too ....... if they thought that a question has been better answered somewhere else ........ my 2 cents ......worth ,,,

I'm most active at the ubuntu forums
I sometimes go to the arch forums but they are not nearly as active.
I was very active at the eu playstation forums but it looks too not-doing work-ish to use at my work:p(and I work a lot).

I'm also both a Super Moderator on one and an Administrator on another aswell.

Tech-Forums (http://www.tech-forums.net/pc/).

I haven't been really active there for a while, though. They're great if you have Windows related questions.

Also, MSDN Forums (http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/categories) are about the best for programming questions. I used to get my questions answered almost right away, even before I had a subscription.

Hi,
As far as regularly visiting forums, I visit this forum and a health support forum regularly. Once in a while I will browse around in other linux support forums, but this one suits my needs best. When I was using windows XP, I used to visit the forum at "elder geek". I never posted there though.

This forum, for linux related topics (and the community cafe), and "stackoverflow.com" for programming related stuff.

I used linuxforums.org a long time ago but I replaced with ubuntuforums :D

I'm a member of about 10 forums, but I am most active on wrongplanet.net, an autism forum. I'm known as RaceDrv709 over there because i didn't think of this name when I joined. Some of the forums, I am on their IRC channels because of some issues with some of the members.

+1. I have been active in a couple of other forums (mainly Christian, and a couple of mental-health related ones) but this forum seems to occupy more of my time these days.

I use Eeeuser (http://forum.eeeuser.com/), Amateur Photographer (http://www.amateurphotographer.co.uk/forums/ubbthreads.php/Cat/) and the Hacker Voice Community Forum (http://forums.hackervoice.co.uk/index.php?http://forums.hackervoice.co.uk/). But I haven't really used them in a while.

I've also been known to visit 4chan (http://www.4chan.org/). But it's not exactly the best site on the web is it?

It's the gutter of the internet; however, without it, the internet probably wouldn't be so lulzy.

I know it might not be thought of as a forum at first, but in my mind, it can be described as a forum with voting on everything: reddit.com. You can host threads about anything and everything posted by other users are voted on. It's really my favorite site on the web now, but for anything Ubuntu, I of course come here.
