Does anyone get something similar when they try to drag a screen with wobbly and then take a screenshot? It doesn't look nearly as bad as that screenshot when I actually drag it, but I do notice a sort of "slice" that travels down the window every so often as I'm dragging. Perhaps something to do with the refresh rates?
I also notice a similar slicing effect when watching video with fast moving scenes.

I have this problem, too.
Every other Xgl-user (or at least users with NVIDIA-Cards) has the same problem.
That's because vertical sync is not possible with actual-(NVIDIA-)drivers in Xgl :(
I tried so many things... but nothing works.
I hope that the new drivers will fix that.

Because you're using the Mesa libraries not Nvidia.
This forum should probably be renamed to Xgl and Compiz now. >.<

Great Idea ;)
Dapper works really great on my machine, only cups strikes a bit (my printer stops printing after a minute).
So there's much time for compiz (for me and many other users) :)
