Hey, buying a netbook soon and its going to be a Dell, because well I can get a very nice discount and possibly custom configuration for it, such as more tha 16gb SSD and maybe even 2gig ram from factory.

They two are basically the same in hardware.
The mini 10v has a better keyboard, but worse touchpad
Vostro a90 is the opposite, smaller, not necessarily worse keyboard and a better mouse.

Now i keep reading that the 10v has a smaller resolution, even though it has a larger screen, that it cuts off at 576, its a 1024x576 resolution, and a lot of people complain about that.

Where as the vostro a90 has full resolution at 1024x600.

Wikipedia says that for the 10v that smaller rez was for older ones, that newer ones do 600. How can I make sure of this?.

There are other factors, and since I've never seen either in person, I'd like some input from people who have.

Thank you,

I heard there was a Dell offer for the A90 for under $200 for US customers.

Check the ubuntumini site for a link.

I've got the original Mini 9, which I think is great. The A90 is minimally different.

Presumably, Dell can confirm the screen resolution of their products?
