When I try to install it, intel pentium 4 machine, It complain that this version of Ubuntu doesn't work on this hardware.
file i download is "ubuntu-9.10-server-amd64.iso"
It look like this version only work for amd hardware.

I think you need the i386 version (32-bit) for a Pentium 4. Don't be fooled by its name, which is a quirk of history!

http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/downloadmirrors

Use the torrent link if possible (less strain on servers).

Otherwise choose one of the mirrors closest to you and find ubuntu-9.10-server-i386.iso

edit: nevermind :)

No, it's for all Intel and AMD processor that support x86-64. Apparantly your Pentium doesn't support x86-64. For extra information, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_Pentium_4_microprocessors

Just the 32-bit version of Ubuntu, which you will find on the front page of ubuntu.com
