View Full Version : [ubuntu] fdisk -l doesn't show USB flash drive....OS is on it!

Ok, to explain.... I took an 8GB USB flash stick and install 9.03. It went very nicely. The installer saw it like any other HD. It has about 4GB of free space. Ubuntu is humming a long nicely. I have no other disk other than the flash drive sticking out of the back end and a cd rom on the computer. So, when I do a "fdisk -l" I get nothing:

~$ fdisk -l
~$

Anybody wanna take a guess?

Try sudo fdisk -l
