Hi ubuntu i decided to make a thread because my sound wont work.

i've followed that guide to the letter. but since its old it might not have worked. this is what happens i get no errors no nothing my sound just wont work. i try watching music videos on youtube. no sound rhythm box. no sounds. and the video goes about x3 faster then it should. does anyone know if theirs anyway to fix this? my audio is not on mute. its on full volume. so i should be able to hear something. audio card drivers are downloaded.
