Mint.com is a website that can consolidate all of your bank/credit card/loan and other accounts all from different financial institutions all in one place. I have heard that mint.com uses code that simulates a person logging into your online banking with your bank, and scrubs the transaction data out of online banking, and sends the info back to mint.com.

I am working on a similar program. Are there any open source libraries out there that have some of this functionality built in? I am interested in doing my project in C, but am still interested if there are libraries like this for other programming languages.

I wanted to use Mint.com but it used Microsoft Quicksilver so I can't access it in Ubuntu. I would be interested in an alternative. :-)
