Good day,

I just want to find out, is some Ubuntu documentation available for download to be read offline?

There are many a times when i want to read something but I dont have time to read it all at that moment, for example, the DocBook. If i don't have internet access I wont be able to continue from where i left off.

Are there sources where I can get the documentation in pdf maybe?

Thanking you in advance for any help,

Sir Jasper

Hi,

Go to the first sticky at the top of this page. Then download the PDF version of the Ubuntu Pocket Guide. Ideally, at least skip read it and when you want to read the Index. If you want to look up say, page 40, GOTO 58 (because the first XVIII pages are in Roman numerals).

My regards

This may not be much help. I had the same thought the other day and came up with this information http://www.google.com/search?q=convert+pdf+to+html&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=com.ubuntu:en-US:official&client=firefox-a Hope it helps. :D

Thanks for the help, i guess i will have to stick to printing the pages to pdf one by one and then saving all to read offline. Well, it don't hurt to ask hey.

Thanks again.
