ya every time i try to login with myspace i/m it just crashes and says

I hate to ask this, but can't you just use pidgin?
It supports myspace's protocol, I think the default messenger might as well.

i could but pidgen dosent let me know when i have new mail or friend requests or comments ex..... so i would prefer myspace/IM

MyspaceIM is a mess, it probably won't ever work very well at all via WINE.
If you want message notification I suggest setting up sms or email alerts.
