Hi Everyone,
I have recently fresh installed ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn on a pc with network card. I want to enable SAMBA, hence I followed the following procedure.

System-->Administration-->Shared Folder.

A dialog box appears "Sharing Service are Not Installed" with following check box.
"Install Unix network (NFS)"
"Install Windows Network (SMB)"

when selecting the second option and clicking on install service button, same dialog box reappears. Can anyone tell me how can I activate samba service on my ubuntu pc.

bye,
Nommy

I am not positive, but I'm pretty sure the Feisty repositories are no longer available because it's too old. You'll probably need to upgrade to (at least) Gutsy in order to install software from the repositories.
