Hey all.
Jaunty today for some random reason chose to forget my network key.

This happened every boot in hardy, unitl i got Wcid. Seemed to have been fixed in the jaunty release.

Ive been using jaunty for months and months without a problem.

now I paste my key into the correct section in 'edit connections' and it doesnt connect to my network. If i apply such changes, then instantly go back in there and hit 'show password' it shows a completely different string to what i just put in.

Really strange that this started (again) all of a sudden. Havent done any network altering or system changes recently.

This problem is forcing me to use vista....... not cool.

Any advice?

Wow.... not one bit of forum love.

So i declared that network manager is rabidly homo and installed wicd.

Seems to work so far. Good old wicd....
