hope I am doing this right.......first time.........
I have recently purchased a second laptop ( dell mini ) and am having problems with my wireless internet key. I know the key works as I have used it with my older laptop. The mini- using Ubuntu - does not even acknowledge I have plugged the key in. This is my first time owning a computer with ubuntu....I love the program.... I want to be able to take it with me on the go, the reason I bought the key. I have no problems with ubuntu working wireless in the house. I have turned off the wirelss connection, then put in the key.....doesn't acknowlege it.
I am not sure if I am explaining myself clearly.....I am a beginner when it comes to computers. Hopefully someone will be able to help me.
Also, if I have not posted this properly or in the wrong place, again I would appreciate the help/advise on how a person uses the forum area
