I am a complete n00b, so please be gentle... I have a Dell Inspiron 531s, which is currently running Hardy (8.04). I have had this computer running Ubuntu for about 2.5 years and the wireless has always operated normally (I have had this current connection for about 1.5 years to a 2WIRE wireless router). However, yesterday I was working and after about 1 hour it kicked me off of the connection and I have not been able to establish a connection to my home internet via wireless. I can connect to other networks, so I know that my wireless card in my computer is still working, and I can connect my MacBook wireless to the router so I know the router is still putting off a wireless signal. Nothing that I know of was changed, no software installations or updates. I have no ideas, can anyone help me? Thank you very much in advance.
