I dont know quite where this would fit in, so i just stuck it in here. I recently bought a Dell Optiplex GX1 on ebay, and when i recieved it, it didnt work. It powered on and everything seemed to be fine but there was no video, i tried three different monitors, and nothing seems to work. The seller assures me that everything worked fine when he shipped it out. It is very wierd because it is on board video, so it is very hard to break. It came packaged perfectly, so i have no idea what is going on. He even sent me a different video card, but that didnt work because in order to get another video card to work you have to chance the BIOS setting and i cant do that since i cant get the picture to work. Anyway, if anyone knows how i could fix this, i would REALLY appreciate it. Thank you!

If you end up sending it back to him slip a Hoary cd in the drive before you take it to UPS ;) .

This is a good question. I would think that an all-integrated board is in general more cheaply made and so more succeptible to static electric damage.

Would it be possible to have someone with the exact same machine (like from the seller) walk you through dissabling the video blind?
