0.22 Automatic DB Backup?

I thought I had read somewhere that, with 0.22, there is now an automatic database backup. As I found /var/lib/mythtv/db_backups, I assumed that this was true, and that was where they went. But I've just checked tonight and the folder is empty.

For now, I've put an entry in my crontab to run /usr/share/mythtv/mythconverg_backup.pl daily @ 23:00, as in my old setup. If I'm missing something something though, it would be nice to get the auto-backup working.

I found a script in cron.weekly called "mythtv-database". In it, it specifies the backup path as /var/backups/$DBNAME.sql.gz

I checked that folder and found several backup files there. I have since removed that script from cron, because I have my own backup schedule that runs 3 times a day.

Ah, thanks. Only looked in cron.daily, anything less frequent is a bit pointless.

Also seems a bit pointless having the install create a folder called db_backups as well!

Will investigate tonight. Ta.
