I'm have upgraded from 8.10 to 9.04 recently, & I no longer have the option to right-click on a folder & open the sharing options (it's no longer there). My network share still exists in /var/lib/samba/usershares & is accessible over the network. Can this option be restored? Thanks

My laptop has 9.04 and gives a Sharing Option when a folder is right-clicked. I haven't set up Samba on it, so that's as far as I can get...

Here is the probable soltion for you. Open the Ubuntu software center, search "SAMBA" and scroll down to the "Nautilus extension to share folder using samba"
Install it and reboot.

Best of luck
