How to start OPENbve in 9.10

We are attempting to run the OpenBVE railroad train simulation package. We installed using Synaptic. We cannot find the executable file, shell script or other way of starting the program. We have attempted to join the OpenBVE forum and are awaiting for approval to post.

try "mono openbve". This is just a guess though.
I am curious how you installed as I get dependency problems when I try to download. Did you have to do something with the Tao Framework libraries?

If I can install it, I may be able to help.

I cant seem to install it either (those framework dependency problems....).
Hopefully someone has this going on 9.10 and can enlighten us as to installation and running instructions...
