Hi,
Could someone please point me in the right direction?
I have Windows XP and Ubuntu 9.10 dual-booting. I have GRUB 2, but I want to know if there is a way to edit the boot file, because I want to rename "Ubuntu Linux 2.????" to just "Ubuntu 9.10" or something similar. I saw on a thread a week ago, that GRUB2 doesn't use a menu.lst ( /boot/grub/menu.lst ) anymore. I also tried Startup-manager, but that only edits the default OS and time-out. So how do I go about editing this? I would really appreciate it:)
