HOWTO: XMMS Equalizer Presets a la Winamp

[Howcomes]

To get the 'Default Winamp Presets' for your XMMS wget the following file:

wget http://www.xmms.org/misc/winamp_presets.gz

Then issue the following command:

gunzip -c winamp_presets.gz > ~/.xmms/eq.preset

This will overwrite any existing presets you have.

The next time you run XMMS the presets will be available

im using xmms 1.2.10 and my equalizer doesnt work at all. it doesnt affect anything but those presets showed up in my presets. anyone now why equalizer wouldnt be working?

I'm using exactly the same version and it does work, though i'm not sure if you have to disable and enable the equalizer after you change the preset.
