Magsafe Please

I'm posting this here because I don't think any of the other pc manufactures would listen. (Another Kudos for system76 :)). What I want is another laptop with a magsafe (like) power connector (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MagSafe). This type of connector is used on other types of devices but for some reason Apple is the only company to do it on a laptop. Is ther a reason why I can't have that feature on a system76 laptop. (Like a lemur maybe :D)

They're patented by Apple, and Apple hasn't licensed anybody else to use them.

There is a way to do it, but it would involve buying parts from Apple, I think.

We probably won't implement anything like that in the short term.
