Boot freeze on Optiplex 740.

I start the liveCD of Karmick 9.10 prompts the menu asking your language. Order install Ubuntu and freezes into a black screen.

Already tried MD5 for errors, burning slow (4x) and all give SAFE GUI, NOAPIC, NOLAPIC, ACPI=OFF options on the first menu but is worthless, keeps freezing in black.

Any work around?

you tried another disc, in case you got a bad one?

I tried Xubuntu and Ubuntu, both checked MD5 for error and no problem was found.
