Samba speeds

I have a gigabit connection and I am getting around 60MB/sec upload 25MB/sec download (my HDD's are Sata2 7200.10 seagate). I want to know what kind of speed people are getting with samba on Gbit connections.

I generally expect samba to perform at 25 - 40 MB/s on gigabit, when the server is otherwise idle.
8-10 on 100MB/s lines.
